Founder and Owner, Barry Dossett has 30 plus years of experience in the landscaping business dating back to his part-time job during high school in Oklahoma working at a garden center store. Barry credits that job for his love of landscaping and for giving him a great education on all things related to lawns, plants, bushes and trees. Barry continued to work for that company all through high school and college before going to work for his father's property management business. Barry's dad owned 25 rental homes and Barry worked as his assistant handling all aspects of the business from showing rental properties to prospective tenants, collecting rent, cleaning gutters, performing general maintenance on the homes, and maintaining all lawns and landscaping duties. After ten years of working in the family business in Oklahoma, Barry moved to Fayetteville, Georgia in 1995. It didn't take long for Barry to become a real Georgia boy and a big fan of the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons and, most especially, the Georgia Bull Dogs!

In 2012, Barry decided to return to his love of landscaping and property management and followed in his father's footsteps by starting his own business called Barry's Lawn Service. He started small and slow, mostly just with customers in his own neighborhood. But soon word of mouth grew about Barry's excellent service and reasonable prices and his customer base continued to grow throughout all of Fayetteville and Peachtree City.  Barry started working with Realtors and Property Management Companies in Fayette County and the business quickly doubled. Barry became the go-to guy for many realtors when they had a listing that needed curb appeal. Realtors love working with Barry because they know they can refer him to their client without worry. Barry always shows up as promises and does incredible work for a reasonable price. Best of all, Barry bills the homeowners directly so that the realtors don't have to act as middle man. Another great perk is that we drive by each week and do an inspection of the outside of the home until it sells to make sure it always ready for viewing. We will mow the lawn and/or trim bushes until the house sells.

In 2017, Barry changed the name of the company to Barry's Best Property Services to better encapsulate the services we offer. We realized that lawn care was only a small fraction of our business and that gutter cleaning was our number one priority. We offer gutter cleaning for residential and commercial accounts and are proud to be the preferred gutter cleaning vendor for several local storage unity facilities, apartment complexes, schools, and businesses. Finally, as the movie industry has flourished in Fayette County, so has the rental market! We work with home owners in the area and out of state who are renting their homes assisting them with rent collection; turn key; general maintenance; verifying applicant's credit; and showing the home to prospective tenants. We specialize in adding our special brand of compassion and discretion in dealing with extreme hoarder house cleaning. 

In 2018, Barry's wife Liz officially came to work for the company full time as the Office Manager. Liz's background in accounting and auditing come in handy every day. We also hired several employees in 2018 as we continued to grow. And in 2021, their son Ryan came to work for the business full time as well. It's been so exciting to see our little family business grow into a true family business!
